If you want to decrease any dimension, specify the custom height, width or depth to the nearest 1/4 inch. If converting to a hutch, specify the height to the the top of the fixed shelf.

A flush side is one where the moulding is cut off even with the side so that it can fit next to a wall or another bookcase.

Arch or Cathedral tops are not available on mitered doors.

The hanging strip is a 3/4" thick piece of wood mounted inside that provides a more secure way to attach the bookcase to the wall. The wall-hanging option adds a hanging strip and makes the bottom rail the same width as the top rail. The finished bottom puts a flat bottom underneath, which looks better when it is mounted high on the wall.

A hutch will have a fixed shelf at your choice of height, one fewer adjustable shelf, and either crown moulding or a 3/4" thick finished top; the center divider will not extend below the fixed shelf and there are no adjustable shelves for the space under the fixed shelf. This option adds a fixed shelf at a height of your choosing. The shelf will be 3/4" thick, but the front rail will be 1-3/4" tall (Click to see examples). In the notes field, specify the height of the top of the shelf. The hutch option will automatically come with a fixed shelf without need for this option.
